Hi, I am new to the forum, have been reading many posts and found some very useful information thanks.
I am woundering does anyone know the depth of the water at Taylor's Pount Wharf in Pittwater? And are there any restrictions to stop you collecting passengers from there.
thanks
Council limit is 15 minutes. On a busy Sunday afternoon when everyone is getting home, drop and go stops the agro. Although I was abused one Christmas morning when I was loading an esky and a 130ah battery.
My boat draws 1.7. On the western side there is a set timber stairs. The bottom stair has a support plate underneath. When that support plate is entirely out of the water, I touch. That is on a still day, allow for waves in a nor'easter.
Lived there as a kd, the RAN facility next door, was rather impressive!
especially when they launched torpedos to Lion Island.
all gone now!
the very end of the wharf was good for spearing all kinds of stuff.
at very low tide, in the water, your toes could jst touch the rocks under
