Hi guys and girls.
I'm fairly new to sailing and am realy enjoying it . I've found a sunfish sail boat and am in the process of getting it back on the water.
My question .
Is anybody else sailing these craft . ? They seem to be pretty rare in Aus.
Would love to chat to any other sunfish sailors.

By Sunfish, do you mean the small Car top, single sail boat? Rounded front, flush deck (no cockpit)?

I sailed one 20 years ago in Vic, good bit of fun in flat water with kids on board

Or the UK trailer-sailer often talked about in Practical Boat owner magazine by the guy who writes supposedly humorous articles.

Sunfish.. sort of like a laser with a lanteen sail. Hugely popular with a big racing class in America.
This one must have got lost.
Built in the 70s I think.
