All the locals thinks it's a green ship but I'm disagreeing not a solar or wind gen in site!
Interesting boat and looks pretty green to me, but you're right, can't see any solar or wind gens which is weird.

Yes that's the link I also read, 1000 tones doing 15 knots. No fuel range tankage and no solar and wind to run all the systems but hey she's saving the planet or trying too using cash donations! Who cares.
Hi Southace
I hope you have a chance to go aboard and do a tour.
As for the French;
4] Most of these tests were conducted on the western end of the atoll, designated as Dindon.
Smaller blasts were detonated on the northern end of the atoll, designated as Denise.
Three nuclear devices were detonated on barges, three were air dropped from bombers, and the rest were suspended from helium filled balloons. A total of 41 atmospheric nuclear tests were conducted at Mururoa between 1966 and 1974.[6][9]
That is from Wiki, scary reading and the original Rainbow Warrior ( and its sinking by French agents) is the main reason that
those tests have stopped. Most governments (including ours) did nothing.
A group of concerned young folk got themselves organized, raised the funds from donations and set of halfway around the world to try to actually stop a country from exploding nuclear weapons in the clear blue South Pacific skys.
Don't you think that (3rd) generation boat has a pretty proud heritage.
I do.
