Hi all
I'm not sure if it's my tools or just me but I seem to be completely crap at splicing double braid (I know, I know a good tradesman never blames his tools!). Is there somewhere in Sydney that I can take my rope to and get it spliced professionally? Alternatively, any of you want to make a bit of cash?
Cheers

I know this is not useful for you in Sydney, but in Melbourne the great thing about buying rope from Discount Seamart in Elizabeth St is that they will also splice your rope for a very small fee.

I found the YouTube video by New England ropes very good. All you need is a basic set of fids & a pusher. Don't try anything but new, unused rope and never try spectra!
Best of luck.
