As many of you are maybe sailing less often than normal this year, here's a little video for you showing a recent passage we did from Raja Ampat to Ambon, Indonesia.
Maries first overnight passage wasn't even supposed to be! We planned on sailing the 40 miles over to Misool and staying there for a few days before continuing south to Maluku. But a stormy day and head winds meant we had to change plans and an easy 30 mile day sail turned into a rough and wild 120 mile slog. Poor Marie was stuck on the couch the whole time feeling sick and scared. She's a brave girl though and came through it smiling and stronger than ever. Enjoy!

Hi Vernon,

Good to see you are fit and well. Enjoy your magic sailing up there, I would not be in a hurry to get back to civilisation, keep roaming the oceans as long as you can!

cheers Richard

Hi Richard, yeah for sure, seems the best way to go. Boats still going well, nothing breaking. Will need a bailout soon as its been 3 years now but I should be able to find something do-able in Lombok. Although its nice to meet other sailors in anchorages and share some beers and stories its all been pretty amazing to have these amazing locations to ourselves.

Hey mate thanks for the awesome vid. Have you tried sturgeon for seasickness?

No I only have Travelcalm onboard. It makes her feel much better but "complains" of feeling stoned and high. Next weeks video is a rougher and longer passage and she made it through 24 hr without feeling sick so she's improving.
