my old Cav 32had an eutectic engine driven frig, which didn't work.
in process of replacing with Engel
slow process
the front opening compartment was huge,160 litres, and not well insulated,so I am in process of shrinking internal volume to about 80 litres, with addition of 50 mm pair foam, internally,as can't get to exterior.
The question is,how to finish interior?
I have fiberglased and painted bottom panel, but running out of patience.
Epoxy paint may not be sufficiently robust.
some sort of lining?.
or fibreglass cloth etc?

Keep going with the glass.
Use resing with microballoons to make nice coves on all corners. Then roll on resin onto the walls. Pad sheathing glass - 6oz would be fine - onto the wet walls and saturate with a brush for vertical and overhead panels.
Then give a gentle hand sand and paint. Two pack epoxy is good.
You must glass the interior of a fridge or you will saturate the foam with water and it will become useless. It is not that hard. If you are finding it a trial you are doing it wrong. Let me know if things are difficult.
cheers

Thanks for advice,
certainly corners\edges need fiberglassing, prob wuth 3 inch roll of fg
then walls
Odd shaped compartment and lack of spatial awareness too !
Access thru small opening also, but I will persevere.
Thanks
Finally finished the frig!
tested on overnight trip to Portarlington.
works a treat
