Hello all. Inspect my boat today and it Seems a work boat didn't use fenders resulting in score marks on Maggie. looks like they've tried to polish it but they are quite deep. any suggestions on repair and should I get them to do it or should I just suck it up

If they have not gone through the gelcoat you may be able to get them to add flowcoat into the gashes. Then after the flowcoat is proud of the surface they will have to sand the flowcoat down and then buff the whole thing - gashes and whole hull side. It beggars belief that a workboat would do this.
I would like to suggest look further to the extent of the damage.
Hopefully your boat doesn't have bonded carpet or painted on the inside of the hull. If the workboat was so poorly operated look for any signs of disbonding of the fibreglass on the inside. Is there any white patches indicating damage on the inside of the hull or bulkheads of interior joinery separated from the hull? If your joinery is not fibreglassed tabbed the adhesive filler between your fibreglass interior liner or joinery may have separated from the hull.
It is likely that above hasn't happened, but please do a though examination as impact in composites often has additional remote damage.
Once all damage is identified consider an insurance claim, any business that does this damage should not be trusted to repair it.
Having once run a composite workshop, it is extremely easy to hide inferior composite workmanship , layups, orientation etc. with paint or gelcoat.

The company that damaged it has taken ownership of the damage and will repair it. it's only superficial scratches and no internal damage.
