Finished took me 6 hours! Toilet outlet Seacock was not operating internally since I brought the boat!

The sea cock was seized half shut and blocked! Although the the handle was still fully operational I suspected this since my toilet was backing up and a fishy smell.

Was not that bad once I got the Seacock off just put my hand over the leak and then plugged it. Went into town and replaced all. The biggest job was getting the tools onto the seacock for removal.

Had three bilge pumps to back me up if I had a problem!

Also forced me to go to Bunnings and buy a ubrute bosch Heat gun to heat the Seacock to assist with removal!

i will check all the Seacocks anf give them some preventative mantiance over the next few days!

$99 for the heat gun and was $124 for a s/s Seacock but realised after I paid that In fact I only needed the $34 dollar zink plated bronze aparently the handles are blue on the s/s and red on the zink! It's hard shopping with proscription sunglasses!
