I'm starting this thread for boat owners to advertise sailing opportunities for newbies, boat-seekers or old hands who might like to try something different. This forum frequently gets questions about one boat or another, and the answer is usually to go see an example in the flesh and, better still, get a ride on one. Here's an forum for boat owners to post these kinds of opportunities as they see fit.

Let's keep it real. Opportunities are offered on a person to person basis in good faith, not as an entitlement or a substitution for formal training.

So, I'm looking for a sailing buddy or crew for a day sail out of Manly, Brisbane, for Friday 14-08-2020, leave mid morning, return same day. Cavalier 28. PM me if interested.

I am happy to take anyone for a sail here at Port Huon in Tassie on a Saturday or every second Friday when I have a scheduled rdo

The problem I have while still working is trying to find the time when I am not working and the weather is cooperating but occasionally it comes together nicely

Regards Don

I have a Cavalier 32 in Drummoyne. It was set up as a club racer with some laminate sails.

I have only been sailing a year and am onto my second boat. Going forward Ill be looking for someone(s) to join midweek afternoons if there is wind. Also keen to do some day trips out the heads to Botany, Pittwater and back etc.

Not interesting in racing in this boat but I crew on some race boats.
