Mate just picked up a bargain S&S34 in Gosford incredible fitout nicest I have seen , new mast and sails and new engine new rigging .
though he didn't tell me what he paid it was a bargain, I am jealous 
I wasn't aware of one for sale up there. Possibly Kwilana known to be in Brisbane Waters. If so, a very early round hatch boat.
Is there an ad for it somewhere?

Don't know her. There was a 34 in Tin Can Bay 'Jari' but I think she is still there.
I'd like to know any info we can get on her.

It was a MK1 I had on my Gumtree saved list. I thought it would never sell but it did! I dumped the listing when it sold.
I will seriously consider offers over $40K for MB. A quick chamfer up and she is ready again for Lord Howe. A bargain at that price!

Too big a job right now.
Suffice to say that she has a soda blasted bottom sides so has a smooth bum (needs a clean right now), engine rebuilt by the marina a few years ago (they put petrol in the diesel tank and spent $7500 fixing the engine which only had under a 1000 hours on it, still with hone marks in the bores), standing rig replaced with new chain plates in 2016 by Joe Walsh, prop shaft now enclosed in the glassed in hull, all through hulls replaced, a Fleming vane and a TP32 tiller pilot, integrated Garmin chart plotter (an old one but works fine), para drogue with rode, MOB life ring, 300 litres of water, 80 litres of diesel etc etc. Tow anchors and chain, grappling anchor.
A new owner might like to upgrade instruments and some electrics but they all work fine now.
For Lord Howe, if I go this year, I will do a shakedown trip or two and if needed give the main a half life refit.
Hire a raft, new EPIRB and PLBs, fill up with food, beer, fuel and water and go. With a crew or two.
