Did anyone lately get an RMS mooring in Pittwater.
Im wondering how much they cost and is it a problem to get one? I dread government impediments to normal things! My commercial morning is getting a bit expensive and I might move.

Not Pittwater, but 11 months ago I got one in the Lane Cove River. Could not have been easier, the RMS people were terrific.

use the maps to choose an area, and then check the wait lists for those areas. you can also call RMS directly to get an indication of how fast the wait lists for different areas are progressing.
i think it's a good thing that the recent crackdown on mooring minders has significantly improved the movement of wait lists...

Just as the others have said. A marine safety officer (I think that was his title) met me early one Friday morning and we looked at the available sites from his boat and I picked the one I wanted. As I said, it was a very good experience. I hope yours goes as well.

I think the tittle is boating safety officer, and In my experience, they are the folks you should get to know if you got a boat, I've allways had a good experience with them. With only one Exception, and that was the complete other end of the scale. Read presenting at court $$$ penalty point system more $$$$ representation $$$$.
But he was the exception !
