Wife and I are on a one month trip through Malaysia and arrived on Pankor today. Saw 2 yachts anchored here. I hope the pictures will load. Have not done Seabreeze with a phone before.
The anchorage is calm but it must be hot below for them. It is difficult writing on the phone so I let the pictures tell the story.

Well that worked. We are here for two days before going to Penang for some fun and then on to Langkawi where there are lots of yachts.
I will keep you guys posted with pictures of a naughtical nature and maybe some interesting yachts for sale. Cheers.

Back to the mainland tomorrow. One of the yachts has left but they will be motoring for sure. A bit of naughticalia for you guys today and some historical and cultural stuff to.
I am sure boty would be drooling over the piles of teak I saw today. The boats being built look like they are being fastened with stainless. Works for them I suppose.
Did the island tour in a rattley old HiAce bus today and saw the old Dutch Fort and the floating Mosque. At high tide it looks like it is floating.
The Chinese Temple was beautiful also and we wanted to go up the top but the rather aggressive monkey stalking my wife because he wanted to steal her bag had her a bit spooked.

Rebak in Langkawi is a good visit, excellent haul out and repair with the Scotsman. Very decent breakfast at the resort. Free ferry to the main island.

It is really tough. I have to have a bit of a lay down before tackling the night.
We are on Penang now till Monday, then on ferry to Langkawi which is what this trip is all about.
However Penang is pretty cool. How about 4 X 660 ml bottles of Carlsberg for $16 AUS and a feed for two of Satay sticks and Poh Piah for $3.

Rebak is a definite P S. Mayhap opportunities are there?? A mate who was there gave me the impression that an Aussie was running the yard.
Are you back at Urangan yet??
