Sitting in my bunk listening to the tug captains chat and heard there was a yacht sitting in the shipping channel earlier tonight causing a danger of collision. The police paid him/her a visit and dropped the fine on him. It was a bit of a stressful situation for the ship pilot and skipper, apparently narrowly avoiding the collision.
"Sitting" in the channel??
If they were anchored in the channel I would say they got off lightly for being so stupid.
