Thumbs Up

I had MB antifouled and prop speeded in early November so thought it a good time to have a look at the hull and prop.
The visibility in the water was appalling. I know the western harbour isn't like Pittwater but as it hasn't rained for ages so I expected better than a metre or less vis. Tides aren't big either.
The hull has a good coat of slime that will wipe off with a rag. I did a bit and it came off easily. I hope to sail up to Quarantine early next week and will have a go at it then.
The prop also had a coat of slime on it and I gave it a wipe without getting much off. But after I ran it in reverse on the mooring for 10 minutes it was clean. Prop speed has its benefits.
Although she isn't getting much sailing done I am extremely reluctant to sell her. She is a lovely vessel and I know her so well I could never get another like her.

Morning Bird,
bring her down to Port Hacking, I'm going to take a look underneath mine today, I'll report back on the viz! I know I have some barnicles to attend to, only 5 months since haul out. But PH is good for marine growth.
keep the boat, it sound like you have your heart and soul invested.
