looking for suggestions for a new colour scheme for my little Swanson Dart.My initial thought was red anti fowl, white boot leg, royal blue top sides, off white or a very light beige deck and a white interior. I think this is a real classic look but not sure if dark top sides and red anti fowl are high maintenance. I do like a dark topside as I think this will really show her classic lines.Dark colours can be difficult to look after as they tend to fade much quicker. The removable cabin top will stay white. It is in excellent condition. I would love a "Flexiteek deck" but at $500.00 a square metre sounds awfully expensive.Mast and boom will probably also need a Dulux make over as showing their age.White, silver or black? Another colour I like is fighting lady yellow as a top side with black or green anti fowl,But then again so many colour choices...decisions, decisions, decisions!
Off course white would be the most sensible choice.

Dark blue hull will be hot and make the boat appear smaller. I would go with the white hull and red antifoul and a boot topping stripe, blue over white if it would fit. Deck in a beige water based paint from whitworths. I would leave the cabin white with a beige lid/top.

You are at Tin Can so go Oyster white or very light cream for hull.
stark white will always show the tannin stain from the paperbarks.
Also try Kiwi grip for non skid.
Not the best to keep clean at times but great to stand on and feels good under foot.
easy to apply and is water based.
I like the green sides with the red anti-foul and probably would go with a tan coloured top side, as the tan wouldn't show the dust as much and the other colours just look classy
for whatever my opinion is worth.
