Thumbs Up

Looking for suggestions, I have purchased two small hatches to mount in the acrylic windows of my hard dodger for ventilation at anchor, the dodger stops the breeze into the cockpit and it gets a bit steamy.

The hatches (lewmar low profile) specify minimum 15mm thickness mounting surface but the acrylic will probably be something less. They look good from the outside but that will leave it looking a bit crap from the inside with 10mm of aluminium hatch frame sticking out of the inside of the window.

Any suggestions to make it look better.

An architrave for the inside, it's back to front, but could be made to look attractive. Or cut the hatch reveal down to match the acrylic

I thought of cutting the flange down but the dimensions of latch prevent that. I think some sort of architrave/trim will be the go, there are flat base hatches but they super expensive and look a bit chunky. The low profile I purchased fits nice with the existing hatch's.
