The above named winlass / winch is fast becoming the rock around my neck... So if I unscrew the top a couple of turns so the rope part is disengauged the bottom half . gypsey is not doing it's thing.
It's got ,e a little stumped as I know this should be a simple thing but at the moment I am but a bit lost on this and it's why it's not playing the up and down game with me.
Now I don't have a model number all I can add is the "capstan" part of the windleass is at 90 degrees to the electric motor which is under the deck off to the stbd side. Sorry for the vague picture painting here when back on the boat will do my best to photograph it.
