Dr Google suggests a long walk... I shall try that this arvo.
I suppose it has not helped to be at a desk today with no window nearby. This arrangement is little different to the confines of being below decks.
I do not get it from crewing weekly arvo races, nor from expedition sea-kayaking many hours on open ocean, (including that one time we left KI at1830 and came ashore E of Cape Otway at 1400 the next day)

Any preventative measures that I could employ prior to going on another multi-day yacht delivery?

Sorry but I enjoy it. I get the rocking on land even after a long day trip or an overnighter. It just reminds me of the good times I've just had.

I get it more intensely in the shower for some inexplicable reason - body's reaction to water maybe? I have almost fallen on occasion, but I enjoy it as part of me feels like I'm still on the waves.

Cheers, Graeme

Hehe
Strangely during a recent 3 month cruise, i was fine when stepping ashore, but after returning to my home port and putting the boat back on its mooring, i nearly fell over after rowing in and stepping ashore, took a few days to get over it....but same here i liked the feeling, reminded me of the good trip I'd just had.
