Im looking for a skiff mast 16ft skiff or an 18ft mast, aluminium, where is the best place to find these?
Or a tapered section like the skiffs
Its for my 5.5m trailer sailer
Look like you have a wanted advert on gumtree already - Busselton. Are you building an i550 - a top boat.
Carbon one right there now;https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/banyo/other-sports-fitness/carbon-mast-and-sails/1234451319
Or an alum small rig;

Or a free mast included here;

See here classifieds but assume your budget is not $3.7K unrigged. These are carbon. An alum one could come up on this site -
skiffs.org.au/product-category/16ft-skiff/
Keep an eye on SailExchange?

Torch, I'm in WA and have a mast made for a 14ft Skiff (Aluminium) its a tapered blank (undrilled)
Hi Ecan, what are the dimensions?
See this but it is in Sydney. Seller has a no2 mast also.

My brother built a Waller 5.4m TS in WA (it's now down here in Tassie) and we brought an old 16ft skiff for a few hundred dollars.
The best thing was we then had mains to fit the mast.
The biggest expense you'll have doing it this way is the spreaders as the originals will be way too short.
I was lucky to have an old ally set off a Thompson 750 that we cut down.
So my point is, be careful it doesn't end up costing you lots of $$ to convert as if you purchased a brand new complete mast, the blank section is the cheap part.
By the way, have you given this guy a call?
