These lamb shanks expire 3/5/20 and don't require refrigeratoation im thinking it's going to be a winner!

Sorry for the late reply , the Shank was brought at drakes/foodland it did say on the packet lamb shanks which was a mystery as it doesn't claim how many per packet but once open it revived just one shank which was rather meaty and went down nice with peas and smashed potatos. I'm thinking a purchase of 10 packets would be good to throw in a locker for quick eat meals on long cruising passages. Can be heated in boiling water or in microwave.

Thanks southace for the tip. I will look out for them. your reply was a lot more personal than the (google it and don't ask what the shanks are like for 12 months kind of crap) thanks again

I have tried a few of these and can report they are almost as good as a home made equivalent.
Similar technology I suppose.
IMHO @ $3.50 worth stowing a few away.
