We are sailing our trailable trimaran in May from Tin Can Bay to Fraser Island, then on to Lady Musgrave weather permitting. We will probably trailer the boat home from Gladstone, BUT I'm just looking at the possibility of continuing North. (If the economy goes to **** and I have no work.)
1. What are the best islands to stop at, and can I beach on any of them to rest up and get proper sleeps?
2. What are the best towns to get food and water at.
Many may think it's fool hardy but others have done it in trailer sailers.
Thanks,
Steve
Hi ., like your trimaran,
Suggested itinerary was posted a few times previously. Also you can pick up ideas from this one.
Thanks for the generous offer Charriot. The Simon Carter videos seem like a great reference. I think I meet you at Sandy Point last time we had to vote. Cheers
Thanks Dama. Do I have to be 'on line' to use Zulu Waterways, or can I download sections of it. Trip has been postponed but still looking forward to it.
PM Kankama - he'll have it on tap, especially from a multihuller's POV.
We're going to take the J/36 up there this winter when and if the coast is clear - can you fit an LT on your boat so we can meet up and train with Hamish and Big Bad Dennis around Airlie?

Now we're talking Chris. Would be pretty cool windsurfing over the reefs. We might be waiting a while though. Boat self isolation is all good until something goes wrong.
