Has anyone seen one of these before? I'm having a hard time visualising what the hull looks like below the waterline and what on earth that might do to performance. There has to be some kind of void behind the mono bow, that has to effect it's performance?https://www.boatsonline.com.au/boats-for-sale/used/sailing-boats/jensen-33-monocat/222938
I like the boom/lazyjacks/stackpack arrangement.
Monocat is a bit of an oxymoron! I'm guessing the hull is more of a tunnel hull than a catamaran. The tunnel is used like this on high speed planing powerboat hulls. In this case the boat has a stern like a catamaran and uses the tunnel hull for the two outboards that would be operating in less turbulent water than would be the case if it was a cat. How it would sail I would not know. It's fairly new and for sale!
