Still searching to buy my boat and after holidaying over Christmas/NY with the girlfriend and her teenage son I am thinking a centre cockpit option may be better for us to allow for separation in the sleeping areas.
Have done a bunch more research and am currently looking at both the Jarkan 10.5 and the Martzcraft 35.
Any comments on either of these boats vs a Bounty 35?
Any distinct differences between the Jarkan and Martzcraft?
Or will it just come down to the right boat, in the right condition for the right money at the time?

did you end up getting a martz, mate? i am pretty much in the same position as you (though there currently no stock of either)
from what i can establish the differences are minor - i personally will buy the next of either that it reasonable.
i am trying to look at a very neglected jarken in sydney but the owner has been difficult to nail down. the thing has been sitting for the best part of a decade with little to no love at all so i don't have my hopes up too high. i have been looking since last year and things seem to be getting worse stock wise. apparently everyone wants a boat now that we can't go to bali.
