Hi there . My boat is called Rambler, possibly M2 built 1978. Has won on overall hadicap Lord Howe race. Would anyone know its history..
Famous old Lake Mac sailor Alby Burgin was her first owner, and she went far too quickly when he was sailing her.

What was his one called Chris?
He use to do 2 handed races with kanga
I think that may be Michael Lee's of lees sails old boat
If that's correct she was moored in Long Bay on Middle Harbour back in the 80's
Lots of Jarkan 10.5 knowledge here. Any history on this boat? Oasis.

Thanks, it still is pretty slippery, but used more for live onboard cruising east coast qld. Old sail number was 5202. On the top right of transom it looks like M2 in the gel coat, does that mean it's the second one built?

The old sails were Lee's, number 5202
M2 = Lake Macquarie Yacht Club #2. Obviously it was a re-used number that Alby, as an honoured member and winner of 1 or 2 Hobarts, managed to grab.
This Jarkan that goes by the name Rambler is cuurrently owned by one of nature's gentleman ![]()

Who is this ??. That photo is only a couple of days old..
