I met Ian after a Gosford Lord Howe race years ago, great bloke, we had a few drinks...told some sailing stories & had a look at his beautiful yacht Maris....
Well said, he will be sorely missed. It's hard to overstate how much he has improved our coastal environment for everyone to enjoy and I believe really changed the mindset of the public. And Maris is indeed a beautiful boat.
