Hi all
I took this photo from the end of the wharf during the race on Sunday and i reckon she is a pretty looking boat
Regards Don
Thanks HG
I was looking at the photo you posted of the top of your mast the other day and she is pretty flash looking

Great spot you have for taking pics.
First shot show a bit of curl in the genoa leech and the main looks to be a bit stretched near the leech. The boat looks lovely otherwise. An IOR 30 footer??
When we have a harbour race you can see the whole course from the end of the wharf so it is a great place for pictures
With Sunday's race the boats were coming out of the bay and trying to get past the wharf on one tack so they were coming pretty close
The wharf was once fairly busy when the apple ships bound for the UK used to load up there but now Huon Aquaculture lease it to service their fish farms and the build a lot of their boats and other stuff in the wharf shed and store a bit of fish food there as well

I was going to suggest a bit more batten tension on the main, just the lowest half batten and the one full one above it... at least that's what a windsurfer would do ![]()
Lovely looking yacht ![]()

That genoa looks like ours, old and out of shape, nothing can fix it.
