I should have given feedback but I feel like it means telling someone their baby is ugly.
It's very very hard on the eyes. Something about the fonts, as well as the layout.
Naargh, don't feel bad. I feel the same way. My understanding is, the new revision is driven by the providers. A bit like RON 91 fuel being discontinued and replaced by RON 87. Off to the mechanic we all go for engine mods. So eventually, the beta will become the main site, and this no more.
Just provide the feedback to the team! Doesn't take longer than complaining here. There's a feedback button or you can drop it in www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Windsurfing/General/Time-for-a-forum-upgrade-?page=3
Now's your chance!
Fwiw I've submitted feedback on a few occasions and most of it has been incorporated in the new version, so this is not a BOM redesign;)
I don't mind the site on the PC but I find it a bit difficult when using my phone which is normally what I use to visit Seabreeze.
As others have said, tell Laurie you think his baby is ugly. He's asked for the your opinion ![]()
Indeed .. let me (Laurie) know. You should see version 1.0 of the site. Urrgh. You'd be begging NOT to go back to that one. 😂
Have sent a PM, lets see...
Anybody else? If so, let me know the device (mobile/desktop). Have made a lot of tweaks last two weeks to colors, font sizes etc based on comments, so if you don't speak up, how can I know what's bugging you? 🤷♂️ I'm all ears...
Unlike 2 of you said, I am not complaining. I merely asked how to navigate back to the old version.
Not liking something is not a complaint. It is more about familiarity, the colours and layout, etc. I use the computer mostly, and never use the weather pages on Seabreeze. I use BOM's 4 day synoptic chart, the local waters forecast and WillyWeather and specific pages for crossing a bar.
OK, side by side on my wide screen computer:
I like the green and the lighter blue labels. Not as stark to my eyes. Softer writing on the old style, much bolder on the new version. Same info, same writing, just the contrast of colours and text boldness, which is a personal preference not a complaint.
The new Seabreeze looks OK to me.
My only suggestion is the forecasts should default to the next day. Not the next 7 days. I think most of us use the forecasts to check whats happening tomorrow, not what might happen in a week. ie. Tide. Time of sunrise. Wind.

Actually, I like the weekly forecasts. For a retired person, it gives a glance at the weather prospects for the next week, so I can plan what I can fit in. Not just sailing, but also other outdoor activities. For example, if I intend to take a dive to clean the bottom, I prefer full sunlight and top of the tide in the middle of the day. My mooring is in an estuary with a sometimes strong tidal flow. The weekly weather and tide charts are particularly handy for picking the right day. Being able to go sailing any day of the week means that if you can, you may as well go on the nicest day!
