Hi, where can I source the female bush item that attaches to the Rudder.
Where can I source the pivotal Skeg Shoe...can they be bought as a Set.
We just want HOODWINKED sailing again.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
the above is the remnant of the bush arm. It's attachment arms have disintegrated. The hole is probably oversize too. Time for a rebuild...can anyone help in sourcing these parts?

the above is what it looks like when intact.

The above is the Skeg Shoe. The bush arm fitting sits over the pivotal pin.

Expect would be almost impossible to source these now. JBCEng should be able reverse engineer make them given the old ones.

I get my bronze fittings from Classic Boat Supplies in Belrose. Go online to their website and to rudder fittings and have a look. You might find a gudgeon to match your pre-existing shoe. If you can't match up you will either as mentioned get it engineered or replace the shoe with a pintle.

DH Porter at Parramatta may have the patterns for the original castings
