Hey guys
Just trying to get my AIS up and running but need to do the HF course, Found a Marine radio handbook from April 2000 on the boat from a previous owner and was wondering if the information would be current to complete the course online ? Bar the assessment of course.
Thanks

I recently ordered a copy for the same reason. Inside cover says it was revised in 2013, 2014, and 2015, copyright 2014. Better get a current copy...

Why do you have to do the HF course for AIS? The VHF yes, and even that requirement is bloody stupid, but not HF. An AIS is a VHF device.
