I would suggest sticking to production yachts.
I think it's a JOG rule design so a bit distorted in shape and without the top end speed of a sports boat and not dramatically quicker than an S80 etc. I think it came past me around NYE looking fairy neat and with nice sails. Has a tweaks and fallible rig

Thanks Chris I was really taken by it do you think it would plane ?
Perhaps, but not like a Melges or Elliott - more of a fast surfing boat, methinks. Having said that, I don't know how she did and never raced against her. It was interesting that a few years back a similar boat, Gingerbread Man, used to do really well in upper harbour twilights because it was well sailed with good gear and very nimble around a short track when sailed well - she could handle gusts, pointed well, etc. So she may not stretch out on the plane downwind and may struggle a bit in light winds or when sailed badly, but could be a good all-rounder if well sailed.
She seems flatter in the midsection and finer in the bow than the really distorted Joggies so could be more like a baby J-Law, which went really well in strong winds.
Looks very tender in no wind and two guys on the rail in picture 3, would be a hand full in 10 to 15 me thinks
