Heat resistant sealant

does anyone know a good Sika etc that will tolerate temps up to 150 degrees.
preferably flexible

Hi Keen.
I believe there's a product they use on car exhaust systems, not flexible though, I don't think. Try Auto One.

I think that most silicones ( roof and gutter etc ) will tolerate 150 deg c .
Depends on what your trying to seal up?

I have seen silicone sitting on top of the slag, not burning, in a molten pot of lead when melting down salvaged sheet lead from roofing.

JB Weld. Comes in two tubes that you mix. Even Jaycar stock it.

Silicone will do the job, I have seen the blue one sold in auto stores used on an exhaust manifold, lasted well with no problems.

Yeah, the blue one will work - I used to use it to seal the extractors on my race engines!!
