Hey Don, how is Gourlay's Bay for holding? The guide mentions increased weed growth making it trickier. We're down your way this afternoon and thinking of anchoring there for the night.

Hi 2bish

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner (it is 1am when i saw this so i assume you have found somewhere to anchor already) but i haven't anchored in Gourlays recently

If we go down the river overnight we normally just use our mooring in Eggs and Bacon (that you are welcome to use if you want to)

No worries Don, we got into Gourlay's at sunset and the pick set just fine. Had a lovely calm night in here anyway, i think a lump of chain would have sufficed . Thanks for the mooring offer though.
