I used to sail my cat in surf. You need a bit of wind. Awesome fun though if you pick your battles.
We were out for the offshore series that Sunday and all got in and out with no probs. but I have to admit it was a bit sketchy coming in.

Agree, awesome fun. Years ago I rolled over my Blazer 23 surfing waves like that with friend on trapeze and all. The speed we got was fantastic. But we knew it was a possibility and pushed it to the limit.
