I wished used liquid and pumped it to 300 psi making dry ice this would be a temp of minus 76.8 degrees
And nit need to run much once it was solid

My blocks obviously were not sexy enough for you but Ooooh!! You are going to love this offer southace!!

An original 40 litre Engel Fridge/Freezer. You could fit a dozen bottles of Champers in this one and have them chilled down to near freezing in 6m hours.

These units are the Icon in portable refrigeration.

Imagine, an Icon on Icon.

It is so sexy with it's fresh original colour green paint and notice the handles I have added and over centre clip lock.

What a conversation piece it will be when you tell your guests about the history of the "Engel".

All yours for $400 plus postage. How could resist an offer like that.

My boat came with an Ozefridge and I am really happy with it. Being an electric eutectic it doesn't need to draw power all the time, mine is set so it is only running when there is an excess of power from the solar panels, the rest of the time the frozen eutectic panels keep it cold. The other good thing is that if you need help you can ring up and talk to the man that built the system. When I first got my boat I was after the manual for the fridge, I called up and Peter emailed me the manual the same day.

Yes, I put an ozfrig on the Ranger. Easy to install and great service from Peter and easy on the batteries. Only slight caveat is that as an eutectic the tank needs to be tuned to a temperature range, so you can have either a frig or a freezer but not both. If I were to do it again I would go for the water cooled condenser, not much extra cash and easy to install for better running in the tropics.

I would have thought that would be the perfect fridge for your little trailer sailor CIsco kid.

I just ordered the mid size version with the water cooler.... My current waeco cold machine cycles 1 hour on and 1 hour off Peter said I should see a huge difference in run times. My Christmas present!

If I had a trailer sailor, it would be.

Maybe you would prefer an internet fridge for your floating apartment. That would be sexy.

Another vote for Ozefridge.
I installed the 480 system with a large Eutectic tank and the water cooling option about 6 months ago. Replaced the old "pour in" foam with 4 inches of "Blue board" insulation in the Cabinet. Unit runs 3 times in 24 hrs. In the tropics ie SE Asia. Keeps the tank between -15" and -3'C. Sort of half way between a fridge and a freezer. Bottom half of the cabinet will make ice.
Peter was excellent. I ordered the wrong profile Tank, he immediately swapped it out for what I should have ordered. One of the very few things I have bought for a boat that actually works as advertised
