Sorry not my video Terry
Hi Terry,
I am the old fart who made the video.
The furler is an Alado. Yes, I do use it for reefing. It works well.
Sorry about the wind noise. I only made the video for my family and friends, and to watch it myself when I am even older than I am now. I never expected anyone else to watch it, and quite frankly I don't understand why anyone does want to watch it!
Steve
Because you show the practicalities of a medium-smallish yacht on a 70-mile offshore passage, the time it takes and the sleep deprivation, the changes in wind speed, how AIS works and/or is useful. And some of the area is familiar to me, while the AB and that crossing are not familiar to me.
Thank you for making and sharing the video.

Steve I only called you an old fart to match many of us on this site, I have gone over your videos on many occasions, if I had a YouTube account I would have left some comments, I have noted your viewing on videos has gone up a bit since I posted this, well done.
please if you have more footage could you please fill up your channel.
I for one would enjoy some in-depth footage on how you made your windvane.
I use sheet to tiller as does my mentor Webb Chiles amazingly simple though a learning process.
could you talk your mate with the Compass 28 into posting some more videos? Truly enjoy what you two are doing.
Thanks for your kind comments about my videos.
Magnesium, you were interested in my windvane so I have added a short video about it to my YouTube channel.
