I've been posting a bit as I am wasting hours in an airport over Easter, today I waste 12 hours. I never knew loonies believed in flat earth circumnavigations. Rather than falling off the disc they believe it's hemmed by a perimeter of Antarctic ice cliffs.

That subject occupied hundreds of pages in the old HW forum, there is a new flat earth thread going again in shooting the breeze forum but I don't think there has been any new evidence lately to support the Flat earth theories.

There aren't flight restrictions over the poles. Quite a few airlines fly great circle routes over the north pole, fewer over the south because of the population density in the north. But they do it.

This is a fascinating video flying an A350 from Tokyo to Helsinki across the North Pole. And they didn't fall off the edge of the Earth!
