If you mean a riser instead of hawser I would suggest 3 strand nylon.

yes, guess it is a riser, it goes from horn cleat on bow down to swivel.
I thought dyneema was much stronger than nylon and therefore good for this purpose.

What's a riser? Are we talking about an anchor rode? Docking line? Snubber?
Just use 3-strand polyprop like this
