Just got back from the boat, headsail is off the furler, the boom bag trussed like a cooked chook, double lines stern and bow, fenders everywhere, halyards lashed, blocks taped.
Let the fun?? begin!

Edit: I walked past a 40' odd Lagoon catermaran, geez those things have a huge freeboard and a big cabintop. I feel for the cat owners over the next few days!

Latest advice from BOM, it seems they are thinking Oma may jag back North before crossing the coast. Off Fraser Island or Sandy Cape /Breaksea Spit will not be a pleasant place to be for the next few days.

Just finished doing similar although after running second lines realised both were going to same cleat on stern and bow which are not overly robust so redid tying second lines off elsewhere. Ran spring lines , tied down boom , tensioned backstay etc.
Gusting to 30 down here when I left.
