I can't answer the question but I did crew on a Dufour 34 in Pittwater out of Avalon Sailing Club. Worst yacht I ever sailed. So tender it rounded up uncontrollably in 12kt gusts, the traveller and main sheet couldn't be dumped quick enough. Woeful sailing yacht, might be an unfair judgement but it put me off Dufours forever.
There were at least a couple of Arpeges here. One was in Queensland many years ago, called Martine or something like that. I seem to recall another one knocking about somewhere.
There have been some good Dufours, and the Arpege was a great boat in its day.

Interesting to know there are a few then, Never seen one here myself.
Over 1500 made in its time , renowned for sailing capabilities in its day and designed by Dufour himself..

I thought one of the listers on this forum owned one a few years ago. I have seen them for sale here too. Very successful half tonner in it's day.
