Unfortunately boat has been placed on the hard for the next couple of years, but on the bright side, its in my back yard and I can finish all those little tasks that have been on the list for what seems like forever.
My main concern is my nearly new diesel engine. When the boat was in the water I would run the engine under load regularly but I can't do that now and I' m wondering about how to best prepare the engine for storage, do I remove the injectors and squirt some oil into each cylinder. I have drained the fuel tanks and sealed the breathers.
What other details should I be thinking about.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
