I well realise that the Cole 26 yacht was designed by Peter Cole and probably rated 1/4 ton back in the day. Even sailboatdata has no details of the builder. There are some prior posts on here including the Cole 26 but the builder is never mentioned. Some boats now for sale seem to be based in WA. Does anyone know who the builder or builders of these were? And how many were built? Thanks in advance regards Rob

Looks very similiar to Cole 23 from Northshore ?
The one in Sydney seems good value, apart from wheel steering.
Lovely boats and I would certainly buy one.

The link in my old post should take you to the builder.
Chris, one of our regulars, mentions the 26 as being built in WA, one in NSW. Down the bottom on this page.

Great thanks Planter and Ramona.
Chasing all the links and comments indicates that a grp mould could have been taken off Evergreen (built Griffin Boat Builders Mona Vale, timber, lead keel) and taken the moulds to Vic and maybe later WA.
