Hi to all on the forum,
I am reaching out to all those who own or who can beg borrow our steal a yacht 29ft or under, who has any interest to sail out to sea but has found it to daunting , or to expensive to buy a true racing yacht.
My thoughts are an impromptu race off like minded sailors starting either in Sydney , out to Brown's Mountain around Brown's then finishing at Broken Bay or visa versa depending where we can get the best social event after the race .
The idea is a scaled down Jester event once a year to allow the common man, or woman a chance to have some adventure in his or her life without being a millionaire.
Just two stipulations under 30ft and single handed .
You would be responsible for your own insurance as it basically will be a meeting of like minded people.
I am looking for expressions of interest also someone who would enjoy or have the experience to help organise the event .
