Thumbs Up

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where in Sydney I can get a tailor made Bimini for my 27' Roberts shallow keel boat.
I am moored in Woodford Bay so someone down that end would be great.
I don't think I can fit something off the shelf as the cover needs to be modified to cope with the backstay configuration.
I have a partner who is a little sun sensitive.

Thanks in advance.

If you can't find anyone on the Harbour try Bruce at Pittwater Canvas Covers. He makes the frames and
the cover. Give him a call (0417254457)

An old (now probably in his 90s but still riding his 900 Kawasaki around town, flying para gliders and sailing his concrete yacht) Dutch sailing mate of ,mine made my covers. I think he still advertises in Afloat. His name is Jos Bots.

Just down the road from Woodford Bay, Sydney Sailmakers at Drummoyne do them. I had one made up by Kieth Brown Sails a while back and they did a good job. Also, I'd be pretty sure David (the keeper of the bay). Given where you're moored you're sure to hear his dulcet tones echo around the bay. I can give you his no if you PM me.

I can second the recommendation for Bruce at Pittwater Canvas Covers. I have just had some repairs to my Bimini and a new dodger and infill done by him and I am happy with the result.
