Big boat with Windvane in nz

Well im aboard my new boat in NZ - Bay of Islands
Tomorrow ill sail. Today lifting the anchor and winched 50m of chain/anchor in by hand. and then a motor to Russell.
Baby Steps.
I brought my TP 22 with me and can use it with the windvane.
I dont think im gonna use it as i dont think i need it. Its seen only 4 months use. bought in 2017.
If anyones interested, pm me. Ill bring it back when i come back soon.

An electric autopilot is mighty useful on windless days and hours when you don't want to hand steer in quiet conditions.
Keep it a few more months and then assess the situation.

i did yeah. and the guy who bought it put the last half of payment in someone elses account which was fun after i sailed her 20 hours non stop to deliver her!
glad to get rid of her and move on with my life though so all good. Was a gnarly sail up the coast. gusting strong westerlies all the way. but she performed well as usual.
