I have done a fair amount of fibreglassing and laminating epoxy with fibreglass cloth and carbon fibre but I have not seen this stuff before. One of the major downsides of carbon fibre is that it does not handle UV well. This stuff is cheaper and is UV resistant! Anyone had any experience with it?

Looks like a good product. The reo and mesh would be of interest to anyone contemplating a ferro build. But I guess that caper has been and gone.
The carbon fibre itself is very UV resistant, it's the epoxy resin that is not UV stable, so if you are going to laminate your basalt fibre cloth with epoxy you will still end up with the same problems. Epoxy lamination's (including exposed glue lines) should always be painted with a UV resistant coating.

agree wholeheartedly but this stuff sounds interesting I will consider it for engine room work
