Great units, met a tasswegin a few years back who had the 80w on board, was charging the battery's while running a washing machine ! He told me they are the units that are used in Antartica. Looks like the price has come off a bit.

Hi Cisco,
it may not charge deep cycle house type batteries. A50cc engine with 55amps is a big ask!
But good for emergencies I guess.

As long as it will quickly charge an engine start battery it will get you out of trouble.

For deep cycle batteries it may need to be run a bit longer, no problem at anchor on cloudy days.

The engine is 4 stroke 50 cc so is most likely splash lubricated and may not run too well on 2 stroke outboard fuel.

Thing I like about it is that it is Honda engine with Bosch electrics put together with Aussie innovation where we excell.
