If theres anyone here thats planning on sailing to the Solomons then I suggest you visit Arnavon Islands. Its the biggest Hawksbill turtle sanctuary in the pacific but very remote and underfunded. Most of the turtles that nest here actually swim up from the Great Barrier Reef each year, so sort of Ozzie turtles.
I spent a week there and documented a ranger thats been there since the beginning, 20 years ago when there was only 45 nests, nowadays theres over 500 nests per year.

Thanks Richard, amazing times for sure and great to get totally away from all the (un)social media and stupid world politics for a while. Breath a fresh air living with these people who I've so simply and contentedly.
Great video and so refreshing to see people helping the wildlife and ensuring their survival. I would love to go there myself and help. And I know exactly what you mean about getting away from the BS

Gary thats an idea I should have asked about beforehand! I've sent an email to the Boss there and asked if they have a PayPal or similar. I'll let you know and will update my video info.
