What ever it is, I would bet my left nut that it's that old that you would never find parts!!
At a guess I would say 40+ years old!
Oh and by the way, time to replace youe standing rigging too ;)
Bet you there is a DC 3 starter motor inside.
Easy to rebuild.

Had on a power boat windlass for years.
I assume it is running on 24 v.
