Hi Just bought a boat and need an antifoul ASAP. First in two years. The place I had planned to do it can't do it for over a month

does anyone have any recommendations around Sydney? I also need to have the cockpit drain hoses replaced at the same time. thanks.

I'll be in Balmain or Drummoyne from Friday when I move my boat to a mooring.

I have slipped there at least 3 times and never had a problem.

+1 for Woolwich who will let you do the work yourself if you wanted to.

Can recommend Itchy & Scratchy Shipwrights also who are located there and could do the Cockpit hoses. www.fixmyboat.com.au/provider/isss

Does Woolwich marina let you do DIY too? I've been happy doing it at Woolwich Dock www.woolwichdock.com/ - fully up on the hard, drive your car right up beside the boat to easily grab your tools.

That said, cost about $1000 to lift, stand and launch. Then pay for my own materials, supply labour and time etc. This year I went with Gladesville bridge marina, was about $1200, felt pretty luxurious to drop it off and pick it up all done for me.

Those prices are for a 22 ft boat btw.

Yes as far as I am aware Woolwich Marina does not cater for DIY.

Balmain Marina does - only on the weekend though.

+1 for Gladesville Bridge Marina.

Sorry, I should've read more closely/clicked the link, my +1 was for Woolwich Dock www.woolwichdock.com/ who definitely allow DIY. (Can't comment on Woolwich Marina)
