G'day.
I'm looking for advice on the best place to haul out and anti foul/propspeed etc in Moreton Bay.
I won't be able to do the work myself, so I need a contractor.
TIA.
Not sure what the best place is, I just hauled out at RQYS, onsite contractors are listed on the RQYS website. Boatworks is huge, I imagine there are lots of options on-site there.
Might be worth ringing some contractors first to see who can fit you in. That might determine the location.
If it's the boat in your profile pic I'd recommend Boatworks. Would be a nice trip south from Moreton Bay too.

Thanks mate, but I don't think we would make it clear of the powerline at the Logan River.
The top of the aerial on my mast to the waterline is 22.5m.
Give a bit of wiggle room and call it 23m.
The Alan Lucas bible shows 20.3m HAT.

The alternate route is via Canaipa Passage , much prettier.
Another thing to note with power lines is the clearance is measured at the lowest point, which is not necessarily where the channel is. Port hacking is a good example

Check the comments on Zulu waterways, Cat with airdraft at 23m claims had 9m clearance . I made it through twice last year in my Celay. ![]()
